1.1 Leader Designs offers measuring consultations either in-person or based on customer-supplied measurements.

1.2 We will take responsibility for ensuring the finished product is made to fit correctly, providing we have taken the measurements ourselves.

1.3 If you supply your own measurements, you are responsible for ensuring they are accurate. We cannot accept responsibility for items made to incorrect customer measurements.

2.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of estimate, unless otherwise stated.

2.2 The total price includes labour and material costs as detailed in the estimate. Any changes requested after this may result in additional charges.

2.3 A non-refundable deposit of 60% of the total order value is required before work begins. 

3.1 Customers may provide their own fabric or choose from our list of trusted suppliers.

3.2 We cannot be held responsible for faults, including but not limited to: shrinkage, flaws, fading, or durability issues in fabrics provided by the customer.

3.3 Remaking any part of the product where faulty materials have been supplied by the customer are chargeable.

3.4 Natural fabrics may have variations in texture, colour, or construction; these are not considered faults as they are naturally occurring.

3.5 Fabrics can relax or shrink slightly over time, which is normal and not considered a defect. This can mean over time, curtains may stretch slightly. 

4.1 Lead times may vary depending on workload, order complexity and supplier stock levels. Estimated completion dates are provided, but are not guaranteed. Updates on order progress can be provided upon request.

4.2 Any changes to orders after work has started may incur additional fees and may delay completion.

5.1 Installation can be arranged for an additional charge.

5.2 Where existing tracks or poles are used, they must be in suitable condition. We are not responsible for curtain performance if fixtures are unsuitable.

5.3 If installation is carried out by the customer or a third party, we are not responsible for damage or fitting issues.

6.1 A non-refundable deposit of 60% is required to confirm the order and begin work.

6.2 The remaining balance is due upon finished installation or delivery.

6.3 All goods remain the property of Leader Designs until full payment is received.

6.4If payment is not received when agreed upon, late fees will be added.

6.5 Costs incurred in recovering overdue payments (including collection agency or legal fees) may be added to the outstanding balance.

6.6 Payments may be made via bank transfer, card or cash.

7.1 All curtains, blinds and soft furnishings are custom-made and therefore non-refundable once production has started.

7.2 We will repair or replace items that are faulty due to our workmanship within 8 months of delivery.

7.3 This warranty does not cover: Normal wear and tear, shrinkage, fading, or damage due to cleaning, damage caused by incorrect installation or handling.

8.1 Soft furnishing orders may be cancelled before work begins, but the deposit remains non refundable.

8.2 Once production has started, cancellations are not possible and the full balance remains payable for all bespoke products.

9.1 Leader Designs is not liable for: Indirect or consequential loss, damage caused by installation carried out by others, variations in fabric dye lots, texture, or appearance.

9.2 Our total liability will not exceed the total value of the order.

10.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
